letting go

This is what the LORD says- your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” ~ Isaiah 48:17

our last big plan for summer was (once again) changed at the eleventh hour(literally!).

we had been (so graciously!) invited to take our sweet mess to disneyland!

(being the mom i am) i decided to have it be a huge surprise for the kids, you know, pulling them out of bed early in the morning, breakfast on the road, "does anyone know where we are going!!??"...that sorta thing!

the phone call from our friend came around 11pm the night before...
change of plans...again. :)

(so glad i never told the kids!)

so, since dan already had the day off work...we went to the beach!
(not so bad when your plan b is the beach!)
