who was sacagawea?

selah did a book report/oral presentation on a native american female patriot at school recently.

she picked sacagawea.

who???(i had no idea!)

well, after reading her book with her (twice) i now know exactly who she was. (more than just the cute indian girl in "night at the museum"!!)

she had to dress like her patriot...(that is a baby on her back)

lucky for us she looked just like her!

perhaps when elia is in school, she can pick barbie!!

she was an american patriot, right?

pay it forward

(my sweet neighbor down the street came up with this idea, and i couldn't pass up the chance at something homemade from her! so...anyone want to get something from me homemade??? read what she wrote below and join in the fun!)

melissa wrote: I promise to send something handmade to the first 5 people who leave a comment. They must in turn post this (either on facebook or their blog) and send something they made to the first 5 people who comment on theirs. The rules are...it must be handmade by you...and it must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011!

have fun!!!
